Iranian president to visit UAE next month

Iranian sources in Cairo said Iranian President Mohammed Khatami will visit the United Arab Emirates at the end of the coming month. This visit comes at United Arab Emirates President Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan al-Nahyan's invitation.
It is expected that the issue of three disputed Gulf islands will be at the top of the agenda during the possible visit.
Iranian - Arab relations are witnessing a remarkable improvement since Iran's current President Muhammad Khatami assumed power.
