Jordan-Israel, Politics, 3/30/1998

Jordan's Acting Prime Minister Dr. Abdullah al-Nusour reviewed the latest developments in the Middle East peace process with a delegation representing Israeli Arabs. Nusour reviewed the situation with members of the Arab Democratic Party at the Israeli Knesset led by Knesset member Abdul-Wahab Darawsheh.

The bilateral talks focused on the conditions in the Palestinian lands and the role played by Arab parties in Israeli politics.

Jordan's Acting Prime Minister stressed the need to resume the Middle East peace process on all tracks, particularly the Israeli-Palestinian track. He emphasized Jordan's attitude supporting the Palestinian people.
