Algerian forces attack terrorist sites by aircraft

Algerian security forces continued operations using heavy artillery and military aircraft against strongholds of armed groups that carry out violent attacks against Algerian citizens in an attempt to limit any massacres before the great Bairam Holiday.
About 170 members of the groups have died in government attacks since last Thursday. Security forces used helicopters to hit the groups' strongholds in the state of western Gelizan.
Meanwhile, yesterday, the Yemeni President Ali Abdullah Saleh denied the presence of Afghanis or terrorists on its territories, stating that Yemen has never been a passage for Afghanis or other groups suspected of terrorism. He condemned the massacres committed by the terrorist groups against the Algerian citizens.
