Qatar, Judicial, 3/28/1998
The higher Qatari criminal court headed by judge Abdel Raouf El-Boukae held a session to set a trial for six Qataris and one Omani accused of having illegal weapons, starting the formation of an illegal group, and owning unlicensed explosives.
The court heard Neveen Abdel Hamid's testimony against two of the suspects and the testimony of an explosives expert.
Lawyer Maged El-Badr was assigned to defend one of the suspects and lawyer El-Nesfy said that he will continue his defense of another suspect.
The court refused a request by the defense demanding the release of the suspects.
