Independence Party calls for reviving the Arab - Moroccan union

The Independence Party, which is participating in the Moroccan coalition government, called yesterday for the revival of the Arab - Moroccan Union, established in 1989 in Marrakesh, and said the issues of the Moroccan Sahara and the sanctions imposed upon Libya are the most important problems that require a solution within this union.
Independence Party Secretary-General Abass El-Fass called for reviewing the decision to establish an Israeli communications bureau in the Moroccan capital, Rabat, according to Israeli stances that obstruct the Middle East peace process.
