AIDS-infected people expelled from UAE

Since 1985 until now the United Arab Emirates has expelled more than 5,700 foreigners carrying the AIDS virus. UAE acting health minister Abdul Rahim Jaafar said that the obligatory AIDS tests that have been conducted on 5.6 million people since 1985 revealed that some 5,729 persons were infected with AIDS and were expelled according to laws enforced in the country.
