German companies plan new trade relations with Qatar

A German delegation comprising 225 German companies is currently paying a visit to Doha.
The head of the delegation, Werner Schultz, said the delegation met with Qatari ministers of finance and energy and industry as well as a number of officials from Qatari companies that work in petroleum and gas, pointing out that the visit's target is to encourage German companies to establish new trade relations with Qatar.
The German delegation's visit to Qatar comes within discussions made by the head of the German delegation for the Middle East during his participation in the economic conference for Middle East and North African in last November, when they have agreed with the Qataris on discussing methods of enhancing economic relation.
