Egyptian, Sudanese ministers meet on security cooperation

Egyptian Interior Minister Lt. Gen. Habib al-Adli on Thursday discussed with Sudanese Foreign Minister Moustafa Othman Ismael bilateral security cooperation, MENA said on Thursday.
The report added that the meeting, which was attended by the Sudanese ambassador in Cairo, dealt with "the dimension of coordination between the institutions of the ministries of the interior in the two countries and proposals to strengthen aspects of bilateral cooperation in the context of accelerated development of relations between the two countries."
Al-Adli was quoted by MENA as asserting his "ministry's readiness to foster cooperation with the Sudanese police."
Ismael arrived in Cairo on Monday. On Tuesday and Wednesday he presided over the rotary meeting of the Arab League ministerial council, held talks with his Egyptian counterpart, Amr Moussa, and with President Hosni Mubarak of Egypt, al-Nahar reported.
