Butros Ghali will visit Lebanon on April 27

The secretary-general of the organization of Francophone countries, Butros Ghali, will head to Beirut in the period from April 27 - 30 on the occasion of a conference among French language based Lebanese universities.
Ghali's visit to Beirut in April in coincides with an expected visit from French President Jacques Chirac to inaugurate the French embassy after repairs are completed.
The Francophone organization in Lebanon will hold a series of activities, including a conference of municipality leaders in these countries as a preliminary step in organizing the countries' summit in Lebanon in 2001.
