Education problems for Palestinian children

A large number of Palestinian children do not receive the most basic educational rights because of the costs of education, said an annual report issued by the Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics.
The report "Children of Palestine: Statistics and Issues" noted that a serious shortage of classrooms has also contributed to the deteriorating level of education for children. The report said the majority of accidents involving children result from negligence and expressed concerns that a great number of children are put to work at the expense of their education.
