Qatar,Egypt maintain normal relations

Qatari Foreign Minister Sheikh Hamad Bin Jasem Bin Jabr al-Thani today said the disputes between Egypt and Qatar have ended and a new page of relations has begun.
In a statement to the Kuwaiti daily al-Rai al-Am today in Kuwait, Sheikh Hamad added, "We will not permit the press to drag the two countries into an atmosphere of conflict. And we have agreed on this point as well as on settling all disputes, including halting of media campaigns and heated statements."
For his part, President Mubarak' s political advisor, Osama al-Baz, said in a similar statement to the same paper that what happened between Egypt and Qatar was a "Summer cloud," adding that relations are back to normal.
