Egypt believes in the Somali unity

Mohammed Shaban, the assistant Egyptian foreign minister for African affairs, referred to Egypt's strong belief in Somali unity, its security, and the importance of settling current disputes and the restoration of the country's government.
In addition he pointed to Foreign Minister Amr Moussa's confirmation of Egypt's willingness to coordinate with the IGAD organization to achieve Somali reconciliation, and said there's no contradiction in efforts exerted by Yemen, Kenya, Djibouti, Ethiopia and Egypt as long as they aim to achieve comprehensive national reconciliation in Somalia.
He also added that Egypt urges all Somali leaders to implement the Cairo agreement and to prove respect to the pledges they made in this regard.
