Dutch trade delegation arrives in Damascus

A Dutch agricultural and trade delegation representing several sectors is in the midst of a three-day visit to Syria to develop bilateral agricultural trade and investment.

The delegation, led by the Dutch agricultural attache to Egypt, Lebanon, Jordan, Syria and Libya, will carry out activities in the fields of foodstuffs and agriculture, especially food-processing, greenhouses, livestock husbandry, agricultural machinery and food products.

During its visit, the delegation will meet with Syrian trade, economic and agricultural activists. The delegation will also make field tours to several livestock and food production centers.

These business contact tours are organized by the Dutch Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Environment in collaboration with the Syrian Ministry of Agriculture.
