Jordanian oppositions for releasing all political detainees

Jordanian opposition parties today called upon the Jordanian government to set free the political detainees in all Jordanian prisons, to give up the trial of citizens of Maan in southern Jordan, and to form a neutral committee to investigate the events that recently took place in the city.
A statement released by the higher coordination committee of the Jordanian opposition parties denounced orders given to the printing and publication department not to publish or mention any information or facts on former Jordanian Engineers Union chairman Leith Shbeilat.
The opposition parties called upon Jordanian dailies not to abide by the department's request.
