A fire around the Egyptian nuclear reactor

A small fire broke out around the building containing the new Egyptian nuclear reactor in Inshas area, east of the capital, causing no losses. Firemen were able to control the fire before it reached the reactor building.
General Shaefi Abu El Maati, the reactor's security manager informed security bodies of an incident involving a fire in small bushes near the building.
A security source expected that the fire was due to a cigarette thrown near the reactor fence, and said the incident confirms that procedures for ensuring the reactor and the surrounding building were taken in order to control the fire.
