Eight kidnapped, 6 wounded in bomb explosion in Algeria

Algerian dailies on Monday said six shepherds were kidnapped in western Algeria and another six Algerians were wounded when a bomb exploded while their coach was passing near al-Medyah, south of the capital.
Le Tantecque daily, close to the government, said an armed group kidnapped the shepherds and their cattle near Saeedah. Al-Khabar daily said a bomb was detonated when a coach passed near Medyah. Al-Watan daily said one of the six wounded people is in critical condition, al-Nahar reported.
