Improving trade between the Emirates and France
United Arab Emirates-France, Economics, 3/24/1998

The joint committee between the United Arab Emirates and France will hold its meeting in Abu Dhabi this Saturday. The talks will focus on implementing the agreement signed between the two countries.

The agenda includes discussing methods of enhancing cooperation between the two countries in economic, finance, investment, petroleum, educational, legal, information, security and diplomatic fields.

Meanwhile, the committee will also address possibilities for cooperation in training, the UAE benefiting from French technological experience in the mineral sector, methods of encouraging joint investments, and increasing cooperation in transferring French technology used in several fields, especially in food and industry.

The joint committee between France and Emirates was established at 1974, and held their 12th meeting in Abu Dhabi last September.
