Palestine seek Jordan's help on land registration
Palestine-Jordan, Politics, 3/24/1998
The Jordanian government ordered all its departments to work closely with the Palestinian government through the Palestinians Affairs Department at the Foreign Ministry in Amman. The decision followed a request by the Palestinian government from the Jordanian authorities to receive all sorts of land and real estate registrations in the West Bank.
Palestinian sources said the Palestinian government wanted to minimize Israel's attempts to take over more land on the West Bank and has been busy lately trying to locate the property of each land slot, whether private or state land.
The Jordanian government, said Palestinian sources, stressed its willingness to provide the Palestinian government with all documents and information it needs to fight Israel's land confiscation policy in the West Bank.
