Restoration of Egyptian property in Sudan

Mofeed Shehab, the Egyptian minister of higher education and scientific research, received Ahmed Abdel Halem, the new ambassador of Sudan in Cairo. They discussed means of enhancing cultural and education relations between the two countries.
Moreover, Egyptian properties in Sudan previously confiscated by the Sudanese government in 1992, included a branch of Cairo University in Sudan, a number of schools, and irrigation rest houses were released back to Egypt.
The Sudanese ambassador stated the appreciation his government feels toward restoration of Egyptian - Sudanese relationships.
