Morocco increases custom fees on wheat imports

The Moroccan government decided to increase custom fees on imports of soft and hard wheat to protect local production.
Moroccan Minister of Social Development Khaled Eleya, the official spokesman of the Moroccan government, said yesterday that the government decided to increase custom fees on hard wheat imports from 17.5% to 50.5% and on soft wheat from 63% to 101%.
