Strengthening relations between Egypt and the Nile basin counties

Mohmoud Abu Zeid, the Egyptian minister of public works and water resources, noted the strength of relations between Egypt and Nile basin countries, saying that the coming stage will witness the creation of a new mechanism for cooperation between the Nile basin countries and a ministerial council for the countries at a coming meeting in Khartoum.
Egypt is seeking to make use of water from agriculture drainage after processing it, in addition to using groundwater to satisfy the need for water during the coming years.
