More positive signs on economic relations between Egypt and Sudan
Egypt-Sudan, Economics, 3/20/1998
Economic relations between Egypt and Sudan are currently expanding due to the recent improved political atmosphere between the two countries, and economic cooperation represents a main support for the relations.
Last week, there were negotiations that focused on renewing the halted trade exchange protocol and discussing the agricultural integration projects where Egypt hopes that Sudan would participate in food exports to Egypt, especially in wheat, as it is a strategic good and Egypt would prefer not to import it from abroad.
Regarding cooperation between businessmen in the two countries, it is expected that the coming period will view increased cooperation between the two countries and that businessmen will join in a number of investment projects.
