Iranian official in Jordan to boost bilateral relations
Jordan-Iran, Politics, 3/20/1998

Jordan's acting Prime Minister and Information Minister Abdullah al-Nsour on Thursday held talks with Iranian deputy minister of culture and Islamic guidance Masjid Jami' on means of strengthening bilateral relations, especially cultural and informational relations.

A Jordanian source said that al-Nasour discussed with Jami', who arrived in Amman on Wednesday, for an official visit dealing with "means of fostering bilateral cooperation and prospects of their development especially in exchanging publications, printings, radio and TV programs and news bulletins."

Jami' is the second Iranian official who has visited Jordan, less than a month after the visit made by Iranian deputy Foreign Minister Muhammad al-Sader, who conveyed a message from Iranian President Muhammad Khatami to King Hussein at the end of February.
