UAE to expand cellular networking

The Swedish Arexon telecommunications groups won a 57.5 million dirham contract to expand the mobile cellular phone network in the United Arab Emirates. The statement said work will commence on these projects in mid-1998.
In a statement on Wednesday the group said the contract will cover the delivery of equipment, improving and expanding the Arexon network in Dubai, and other expansions in Sharja and al-Ein.
