Russian envoy arrives in Beirut today

Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Viktor Posovaluke arrives in Beirut today for a two-day visit. He will hold talks with high-ranking Lebanese officials on means of reviving the peace process.
Posovaluke will also discuss the situation in the Gulf region and the key role played by Moscow in reaching a solution to the crisis between Iraq and the US.
