Britain to reconsider its terrorism laws

British Foreign Secretary Robin Cook has stated that his country will reconsider its laws on fighting terrorism.
In statements to reporters following his meeting on Monday with Egypt's President Mubarak, Cook said his country will take proper measures against terrorism, adding that he and President Mubarak discussed the issue of terrorism and expressed understanding of Egypt's worries in this respect.
Egypt accused Britain of accommodating extremists who committed crimes the last of which was the Luxor massacre which claimed the lives of 58 foreign tourists including several British.
