Libya condemns Maritn Indyk's tour of Morocco

Libya denounced US Assistant Secretary of State for Near Eastern Affairs Martin Indyk's visit to the northwest African country of Morocco.

Libya's Foreign Ministry said that one of this tour's targets was repeating all the US government's false information and claims against Libya, Iraq, Palestine and Syria within the US plot against the Arab nation. The ministry added that in the end this US plot will benefit Israel, leading it to dominate the Arab nation and its wealth.

Meanwhile the Algerian Prime Minister Ahmed Oyahieh received a communique from US President Bill Clinton to the Algerian President Liamine Zeroual, who is currently in a Geneva clinic after indergoing successful surgery.

Algerian television reported that in this message Clinton expressed his willingness to develop relations between the two countries, thus Indyk with met Algerian Foreign Minister Ahmed Staff.
