Kuwaiti minister expresses displeasure at demonstrations for Iraq

Kuwaiti Minister of Agriculture Mohammed El-Sayed El-Reffac expressed his displeasure and surprise at Arab demonstrations in support of Iraq during the recent crisis, describing the demonstrators as deceived by Iraq.

The Kuwaiti minister said that Arab states, especially the Gulf countries cannot boycott the US, which supported them. He said that the Gulf people could not find a better market for their petroleum products than the US market.

He stated that the US is not conspiring against Iraq or the Arabs, adding that the US "double standard" approach towards Iraq and Israel does not serve the Arabs, but Arabs should get rid of the "conspiracy theory" which affects their relationships with others.
