Cook, Mubarak to meet Monday

Next Monday Egypt's President Mubarak will meet with British Foriegn Minister Robin Cook, who will arrive in Cairo on Sunday evening to begin a six-country tour of the Middle East.
Cook will also meet with Egyptian Foreign Minister Amr Moussa, his eminence the Shiekh of Al-Azhar Dr. Mohamed Sayed Tantawy, and his Holiness Pope Shenouda III.
This visit by the British minister will pave the way for the visit planned by British Prime Minister Tony Blair to the area next month.
The British ambassador in Cairo, David Belendwik, says that talks between the British foreign minister and the Egyptian authorities will tackle methods of enhancing the peace process in the Middle East and the European ideas in his field, bilateral relations, and consolidating bilateral cooperation, especially in investment and commercial exchange.
