Mubarak meets US army chief: relation is strategic

President Hosni Mubarak of Egypt on Thursday met with US army chief of staff Henry Shelton in the presence of Shelton's Egyptian counterpart, Lt. Gen. Majdi Hatatah. Shelton described US - Egyptian relations as representing "a strategic partnership."
He described his meetings with Egyptian Defense Minister Hussein Tantawi and with Hatatah as "fruitful."
