A study for the Economic Unity Council, affiliated with the Arab League, said that 18 countries' agreement to reduce customs by 10% for goods exchanged among them is very important step toward removing customs duties between Arab states within 10 years. The study said that Arab trade constitutes 8% of international trade at a total volume of $680 billion.
