Israel will not participate in Cairo market
Egypt, Economics, 3/12/1998
Ahmed Goweili, Egypt's minister of trade and supply, said Israel is not going to participate in the International Cairo Market this year, adding that Kuwait and Iraq will be represented, as they are seeking larger markets for their products.
Egyptian Prime Minister Kamal El-Ganzouri inaugurated yesterday the 31st session of the International Cairo Market, accompanied by Goweili and the ministers of tourism, industry, information, and agriculture, and 17 ministers of trade from countries participating in the market.
45 Arab and foreign countries are participating in this year's exhibition.
