Lebanese prosecution arrests five

The Lebanese prosecution has issued an arrest order against a retired major in the Lebanese army, Kietel Hayek, a defendant in president Rashid Karami's assassination case, and referred him to the justice council. The arrest warrant, issued against him by a military court, accuses Hayek of dealing with Israel.
Hayek was among a group of Lebanese prisoners released last week by Syria.
Four other people were also referred to the military court, one for terrorist actions two for dealing with Israel, and one for fleeing from prison.
