Libya, Egypt sign maritime accord

Libya and Egypt on Tuesday signed an accord organizing transport of citizens and commodities via seaports in the two countries.
During two-day of talks held on Monday and Tuesday in Tripoli, Libya, the two sides agreed to exchange information and expertise on developments in sea transport and to study a draft project on cooperation between the two countries' sea and commodity transport.
The two sides also agreed to extend the navigation route linking Casablanca and Morocco to Tripoli to reach Alexandria and to cooperate in the field of ship maintenance and maritime services.
