Cabinet reshuffle in Sudan

Sudanese President Omar al-Bashir on Sunday night issued several decrees according to which several federal and state ministers were appointed.
The Sudanese ministers set up a Ministry for International Cooperation and Investment and a supreme council for sport. The reshuffle covered some 14 federal ministries.
Minister of Information al-Tayeb Muhammad Khair has become the minister of social planning and was replaced in his post by Ghazi Salaeddine, who had held the post of the secretary-general of the national congress. Lt. Gen. Abdul Rahim Muhammad Hussein was transferred from his post as a minister of presidential affairs to be the Minister of the Interior and Abdul Basset Sebdrat, who was the minister of justice becomes his advisor.
Ministries that were not affected by the reshuffle were those of finance, industry, higher education, agriculture, foreign trade, energy and minerals, foreign relations, education, environment, tourism, roads and communications.
According to the reshuffle three ministers were exempted from their posts, namely al-Teijani Adams, Muhammad Othman al-Khaleifa and Ihsan al-Ghabshawi.
