Iraqi exile government
Iraq, Politics, 3/10/1998
Iraqi daily Nabdul Shabab, edited by Odai Saddam Hussein on Monday published a list of names for an exile government which the paper said was supposed to have been announced during US military strikes against Iraq.
In an unprecedented measure, the paper published photographs of three members of the said government, namely the chairman of the Iraqi opposition national congress Ahmad al-Jalabi, former Iraqi military intelligence chief Wafiq al-Samarai, and Saad Saleh Jaber.
The paper added that the government would have included 30 members and would have been announced during the US aggression against Iraq during the recent crisis over inspection operations.
