Israeli bombardment of south Lebanon

Israeli occupation forces on Monday shelled several Lebanese villages and towns in the western sector of south Lebanon. Lebanese security sources said Israeli artillery shelled al-Mansouri, Haris, Hadath, al-Qalila and Beut Sayed towns.
The attacks were accompanied by mock raids at low altitude over al-Nabatieh as well as al-Tuffah district areas and the city of Sidon. The occupation forces also machine-gunned and rocketed Hadath, Eita al-Jabal, Barachit and al-Zaatar mountain areas.
Earlier, the occupation forces shelled Shabaa town in occupied south Lebanon. News reports from south of Lebanon said that heavy machine-gun fire covered al-Hibariya valley. Meanwhile, South Lebanon Army forces carried out a mopping-up operation against Hasbaya road, the areas of al-Hasbani, Zamraya and Ein al-Saqqa town.
