Syrian FM briefs US Air Force Academy delegation on ME situations

Syrian Foreign Minister Farouk al-Sharaa on Monday gave a political briefing to a US Air Force Academy delegation on the latest developments in the region, foremost of which being the Iraqi crisis and the stalemated peace process.
Sharaa stressed the importance of the political solution reached by the U.N. secretary-general and refusal of the military action in dealing with the crisis.
He called for the uniform implementation of UN resolutions and held the Israeli government responsible for the impasse in the ME peace process.
