King Hassan refuses contacts with Netanyahu
Morocco-Israel, Politics, 3/10/1998

King Hassan of Morocco has refused any future communications with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Israeli daily Yediot Ahronot reported on Sunday.

"I'm not prepared to meet with this man, with Netanyahu... his body language projects aggression, something violent," the paper quoted King Hassan as saying, "In the very near future I'll refuse to receive letters from this man."

The paper said the King's request was conveyed through the former chief of the Israeli liaison office in Rabat, David Dadon.

The king also expressed similar feelings to the deputy chairman of the Israeli Labor Party, Rafi Edri, with whom he recently met in Rabat. The paper reported that King Hassan refused Edri's efforts to arrange a meeting between the king and Netanyahu.
