15 agreements between Tunisia and Yemen

Tunisian and Yemen signed 15 economic agreements after a three-day bilateral session in Sanaa.
Tunisian diplomatic sources in Sanaa said a Yemeni - Tunisian businessmen's council will be established for enhancing trade and bilateral relations between the two countries, establishing joint projects, exchanging experts and economic data, and removing the difficulties obstructing trade between Tunisia and Yemen.
The last meeting the Yemeni - Tunisian joint committee was held in Tunisia in 1993. At that meeting, the two sides signed agreements of cooperation in several fields.
The sources said the volume of Tunisian - Yemeni trade reached $1 million during 1997, an amount the joint committee wants to increase.
