King Hussein of Jordan makes downtown tour of Muscat

Led by his counterpart Sultan Qaboos of Oman, King Hussein of Jordan made a downtown visit to the Omani capital, Muscat. The two leaders visited two mosques under construction in the city.
Meanwhile, Jordanian Prime Minister Dr. Abdul-Salam al-Majali met with Jordanians in the Gulf state. He briefed them on the latest developments in the Middle East peace process and the efforts Jordan made to ease the Iraqi crisis.
