International efforts to maintain oil prices

Kuwait expressed its approval for any international efforts exerted to maintain petroleum prices, which have recently taken a significant downturn in international markets.
Isa al-Mazidi, the Kuwaiti oil minister, referred to the to the uneasiness of the petroleum-producing countries and the members of OPEC because of the stagnation in oil prices.
Al-Mazidi said intensive consultations will be made among the concerned countries during a meeting to be held in Vienna on March 16.
