Qatar's ruler to visit Cairo

Qatari ruler Hamad Ben Khalifa al-Thani is expected to make a formal visit to Cairo in the middle of the current month at the invitation of Egypt's President Hosni Mubarak.
The Qatari ruler sent a message to President Mubarak in which he discussed bilateral relations, the joint efforts to overcome the Gulf crisis and the importance of enhancing Arab bilateral relations.
Sheikh Hamad confirmed his sponsorship of Egyptian employment in Qatar and his concern with their interests. The Egyptian minister of education said the meeting between the two leaders will establish a firm policy for the future.
This visit is the clearest sign yet that the relations between the two countries are on the mend.
