New Bahraini security chief appointed

Diplomatic sources said Bahrain has appointed Sheikh Khaled Bin Muhammad Bin Salman al-Khaleifa as the new director general for the security agency to replace Ian Henderson. The sources said the decision was made in the second half of February and that Henderson, a former officer in the British armed forces, will stay in Bahrain until full authority is transferred to his successor.
