Arab health ministers council session open

The meetings of the 22nd session of the Arab mealth ministers council opened today at Damascus' Umayyad palace.
The session, organized by the Arab League in collaboration with the Syrian Ministry of Health, will discuss a number of issues dealing with health and medicine and with setting a strategy for Arab health cooperation.
On Tuesday the executive bureau of the Arab health ministers' council held a meeting to review the bureau's activities as well as a number of health and medicine affairs in the Arab states. Among the topics discussed in the meeting were the health condition of Arabs in occupied Arab lands as a result of Israeli policy and an agreement for Arab cooperation to organize flights to render health aid to the people of Iraq and Libya.
