Yemeni economy conference in Sanaa at end of March

The second economy conference sponsored by Al-Thawabt Al-Faslaih magazine will be held in the Yemeni capital, Sanaa, at the end of March under the chairmanship of president Ali Abdallah Salah.
Yemen's state minister for Cabinet affairs, Dr. Ahmed Ali Al-Bashari, who serves as the chairman of the preparing committee said the conference will address many issues, including 30 working papers and specialized research about the administrative, economic and financial reform which began in 1995 and will finish in 2000.
He confirmed that the most prominent result of reform is Yemen's success in canceling 85% of Russia's debts - which represent 75% of the external total debt which is 11 billion dollar.
