UAE deputy premier calls on US envoy for resumption of peace talks

Deputy premier in the United Arab Emirates, Sheikh Sultan bin Zayed al-Nahyan, today stressed the need to establish just and comprehensive peace in the Middle East region.
During his meeting with former US undersecretary of state for Middle East affairs Rosco Dareth, Sheikh Sultan stressed the need to resume negotiations already suspended as a result of Israel's expansionist settlement policy, Gulf News Agency reported.
Sheikh Sultan and the US envoy exchanged views in developments in the Middle East region and the Arab Gulf and obstacles placed by Israel before resuming peace talks.
