Final touches for Saudi-Yemeni border-demarcation

Yemeni Parliament Speaker Sheik Abdullah al-Ahmar on Monday said Yemen's President Ali Abdullah Saleh will soon visit Saudi Arabia, adding that border demarcation between Yemen and Saudi Arabia is in the final stages.
In a statement to the Saudi daily Okaz today Sheikh al-Ahmad said the new meetings of the Saudi-Yemeni joint higher committee will convene within the next few months.
The Yemeni parliament speaker denied news that border negotiations between Saudi Arabia and Yemen are stalemated, adding: "We are optimistic that we will settle them ultimately, and I am taking part in the efforts exerted for a final settlement".
