OIC FM s meet in Doha

The Organization of the Islamic Conference on Monday said that foreign ministers of the OIC member states will hold their 15th ordinary session in Doha on March 15 - 17.
The OIC's assistant secretary-general, Ibrahim Bakr, said that 55 OIC member states approved participation in the meeting which is dedicated to basic issues of concern to the Islamic states, especially the situation in Palestine, Cashmere and Afghanistan.
The meeting, however, comes three months after the 8th OIC Islamic summit which was held in Tehran in December. The 9th OIC Summit is scheduled to be held in Doha in the year 2,000.
