France for not to imposing security arrangements on Lebanon

France on Monday reiterated the need to resume Middle East peace negotiations on all tracks and implement UN Security Council resolution 425 providing for Israel's unconditional and immediate withdrawal from south Lebanon.
The assistant spokeswoman for the French Foreign Ministry quoted French Foreign Minister Hubert Vedrine as saying that his country does not want to impose on Lebanon security preparations it does not want. He stressed France's firm stance concerning implementing resolutions 425 and 242.
